Greetings from a new member seeking input for an article on Balletomanes!

Hello – I am a long time balletomane dating back to the early 1960s. My favorite company has been the Bolshoi because I love strong male dancing. I am writing an article on balletomanes/ balletomania. I do not yet have a publisher, but I am hopeful.
I will post some of my own experiences and ask for yours. For example, how far have you traveled to see a favorite dancer or company? My record was flying 36 hours on 4 flights  from the interior of Alaska to London to see Ivan Vasiliev’s opening Spartacus. I am also very interested in how people came to love ballet. Was it a particular dancer? For me it was Vachtang Chabukiana in the film of Flames of Paris. Ludmilla Semenyaka made me fall in love with classical ballet. I would love to hear from all of you.
