Ostrich
Browsing through the book Balletomane at large, by Arnold Haskell, I came across the following regarding Nadia Nerina: "I believe that had she been a little less outspoken at times she might have been given greater opportunities. Her loyalty to the organisation has always been absolute, though her interviews have been unfortunate and have created a contrary impression. There are times when dancers should be seen and not heard." That set me wondering what it WAS that she said, that limited her opportunities. Did she have a talent for tactlessness? Link to comment
