Guest marcini99
I hope this is a right place to post this message... I am looking for any information, books, web pages (I've found some, but not enough information inluded) containing information of Birgit Cullberg and Cullberg ballet. It is very important to me, because the time is running fast and I have to gather as many information as possible. I found only one book of Näslund Erik, but unfortunately it is in Swedish... Please help Thanks Marcin Link to comment
Alexandra
As far as I know, the Eric Naslund book is the only full book on Cullberg. I don't have it, so I can't check its bibliography. A search on amazon.com now will turn up whenever a name is mentioned in a book, not just books with that name as their subject, so you might try there. It also might be worth contacting both the Royal Swedish Ballet and the Swedish Embassy. Cullberg was a very important figure and there may well be at least a pamphlet, or small biography. Pamela Moberg
Have you checked Altavista? Masses of Cullberg information, pages and pages of it. Admittedly, most of it in Swedish, but some in English. If you find something in Swedish that looks interesting to you, I will be happy to translate for you. Also, write direct to the Cullberg ballet, I cant remember the address right now, but I will find out for you and give you the answer tomorrow. Good luck with your venture! Guest marcini99
Thank you!! I tried google, but the web information I got are only little biographical notes and I am looking for detail history information, opinions about Cullberg ballet, reviews etc. I already have basic info... Link to comment
sandik
Althought Google is a good search engine, if you're doing real research you should always use more than one -- they all have strengths and weaknesses. I know several librarians who still swear by Altavista. Link to comment
