I remember meeting him when they first opened their beautiful studios in Maryland. I would watch him teach class through the observation window and wish I was good enough to take his class.
I have always enjoyed attending performances in their studio theatre and I will be there this weekend when ABTII performs. He would introduce the company.
I am so grateful he provided these opportunities. RIP

Washington DC PBS station 26 will air the documentary Tuesday April 8 at 10pm and April 9 several times on their HD channels

I saw the Thursday night and Saturday matinee. Looks like all the children parts were played by young girls. The court pages in blue and silver and the young pair in the garland dance were the same group of girls in both performances I saw. I guess ABT could not find any young boys to play the male parts. Yes, they did a great job.
