Just saw the ballet perform Balanchine's Bouree Fantasque at Steele Indian School Park, and it was beautiful. I am a devoted NYCB fan and had never before seen Ballet Arizona perform but I will be buying tickets for their upcoming season. What a talented, energetic and exquisite company! Also really enjoyed the two contemporary pieces they previewed, though Bouree was the highlight.

Went to three nights at the New York City ballet in a row this week, starting with opening night. What a wonderful week!

I did notice a name missing from the corps roster - Eliza Blutt. She is a lovely young dancer who was doing some choreography as well. Does anyone know why she left,or where she went? I did not notice any other dancers' names missing from the previous corps.

Does anyone know where Clara Ruf-Maldonado is dancing now? I know she was a Wien award winner, an NYCB apprentice and thought she had made it into the corps. But I no longer see her name in the roster. And I agree about Rebecca Krohn - she is a lovely dancer. Glad she will be teaching others.

The updated NYCB roster says Eliza Blutt, Christina Clark, Ethan Fuller, Kennard Henson and Emma Von Enck are all now part of the corps de ballet. Congratulations to these hardworking dancers!
