It's revealing to have this Legat bros. view of V.D.Tikhomirov circa 1903, the Moscow-associated dancer (b. 1876), who is documented somewhat memorably in a much later date silent film, circa 1913 (sometimes with sound added) dancing alongside Ekaterina Geltser, when he was older and much more "weighty" of physique and silhouette.
