After his debut as James last week, Marcin Kupinski has been promoted to soloist in the Royal Danish Ballet. He has had some good roles recently, and is dancing Albrecht (with Gudrun Bojesen as Giselle) on the company's current tour, so this was not unexpected. He was trained in his native Poland and joined the company in 2002.
The formal announcement is here, and David Amzallag has a nice picture of him as James. (And scroll down for some more of the new casts.)
