Pierre Lacotte's two-act staging of Coppélia, featuring the Paris Opera Ballet School, has gone on sale at the Berkshire Record Outlet. The production stars Charline Giezendanner and Mathieu Ganio in their student days. The disc, which seems to be out of print at present, is supplemented by a documentary on the Paris Opera Ballet School made some 20 years ago, featuring glimpses of Aurélie Dupont, Clairemarie Osta, Nicolas Le Riche and José Martinez, among others, while they were still students, as well as appearances by then étoiles Élisabeth Platel, Monique Loudières, Patrick Dupond and Manuel Legris.
