I saw a surprising performance on Monday in, of all places, Weston Mass. Happened upon a Balanchine tribute performance danced by Peter Boal, Miranda Weese (NYCB), Sarah Van Patten, Chidoze Nzerem (SFBallet) and members of MassYouth Ballet & Boston Ballet. Apollo, Tchai Pas, Serenade, Waltz of the hours: all done very well. Who knew?
