  1. I wonder which of these productions is likely to be filmed for television. Surely not Romeo and Juliet again.

The Tchaikovsky Gala of the 31 December with Bolle and Semionova will be shown live on Arte but only in Europe.

I don't know if something will be filmed next season for television or dvd.

In January they filmed A Midsummer Night's Dream with Ferri, Bolle and Murru.

  2. Next La Scala's season has been announced at the end of may.

    It includes:

Bourmeister's Swan Lake with Roberto Bolle and Svetlana Zakharova

Tchaikovsky Gala the 31 December 2007: Bourmeister's Swan Lake, Nureyev's Sleeping Beauty and Bart's The Nutcracker with Roberto Bolle and Guests: Polina Semionova, Nadja Saidakova, Ronald Savkovic

MacMillan's Romeo and Juliet: Roberto Bolle will dance with Alina Cojocaru and Julie Kent; Massimo Murru

    Bigonzetti's Mediterranea with Massimo Murru

Petit Evening: L'Arlésienne, Le jeune homme et la mort, Carmen with Roberto Bolle and Massimo Murru

Neumeier's La Dame aux Camélias with Roberto Bolle and Massimo Murru

Not so much unfortunately and, as usual, just few casts announced (and even if they are, you never know!)! :(

  3. In regards to her retirement in March from La Scala and June from ABT,

what are some memories of her that you can reminisce on?

What do you think were her greatest/strongest of emotions and/or technique - in terms of specific roles/ballets?

Are there any performances that you've seen that you wish were on dvd?

What recordings would you recommend that would typically spotlight her zenith?

The best performance I've ever seen in my life was Ferri's and Bolle's Dame aux Camélias at La Scala Theatre. Great!!! The best farewell she could give to the Italian theatre. It's really a pity in the U.S. you won't have the opportunity to see her Marguerite, for me, her best interpretation together with her Juliet. It's really a pity we won't have a dvd about those special performances, even if in Italy something could be showed at the tv in the future.

It will be possible to see Alessandra Ferri and Roberto Bolle in La Dame aux Camélias in Hamburg in July, as John Neumeier invited them after their performances in Milan.

    I love also her Manon!

I think these are the roles that better fit her skills.

To see some pictures about La Dame you can go to La Scala Theatre web site. Here the direct link: http://www.teatroallascala.org/public/LaSc...gini/index.html
