Cristian, I look for Cox's name in each of the reviews but so far have not yet found it. All the dancers have been given "names," but some appear to be characters (although 2-dimensional, according to Acocella) while others may be primarily for background. Cox may be one of those. The leads are, apparently, all older dancers (3 of them in their 40s).
Cox is a principal swing (first cast came from the Atlanta show). He is Marty the bartender on Wed and Sat matinees.

Bart, I subcribed to Dance View via their website a month ago, but have not heard from them. Is there a telephone contact number on their newsletters? I tried emailing them, but the email was returned for an incorrect address. Thank you for your help, it looks like a newsletter I would love to receive.

Miami City Ballet's 2nd program opens in Miami this weekend -- then on to West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. (Naples, too? I'm not sure.)
The program consists of La Source (Balanchine, Delibes), Push Comes to Shove (Tharp, Lamb/Haydn), and Western Symphony (Balanchine/ Kay).
I hope that all who see this -- or who have any thoughts about the choice of programming -- will post their comments and impressions here.
