The ballet where he is in black is Serious Pleasures by Dove. I believe the ballet where he was a gorilla is the Todd Bolender ballet, but I'm drawing a blank on the name.

The guy is Le Yin in the Waterbaby's section with the four girls.

FYI, thats Lesley Rausch not Carla Korbes in the Red Angels clip.

Here is your answer - he formed his own dance company!
That company was actually started by a different PNB dancer...Li Hengda, not Le Yin. Le Yin was in the performances that they had.

Jonathan Porretta was outstanding in State of Darkness. Though the piece may have been long he held my attention through it all. It was almost as if the piece was made for him. He was so clear and precise in all the movements. I had been looking forward to seeing him perform it. I went in with no expectations which for me is very hard, but went away amazed at the level in which he danced. Jonathan always dances full force with a passion unlike any other, but this performance brought a new level to an already mature artist.

I too remember learning twinkliana at CPYB. It was a great little piece that shows off several dancers.

I have a feeling dancers don't hear quite as often from their fans as they would like.
And as far as responding to those fans. I believe many would take the time out to respond if warranted by the sender. EXAMPLE If a fan would ask for a signed photo or such, a dancer could easily acquire a photo. But in the end, I think it depends on the dancer.
