I think it's just a way of saying that you don't need to do it on pointe. It's also a way of having their cake and eating it -- dangling the "ballet" lure but with a kind of disclaimer.
They are going after a general customer base, after all, and don't want to intimidate them. Something along the lines of "You can have a ballet dancer's body even if you can't/don't want to dance ballet." Insulting? Vaguely, but what isn't, these days?
that makes sence. I think that's what they're trying to say. I don't think I thought about it very well....

I save mine. I don't have a whole bunch right now, they're just in a pile under my bed but when I do get a lot I'd probably put them into some sort of filling system. Like a file cabinet or plastic boxes. I'm really organized!

I was wondering if there are any video's on the internet that show how people making pointe shoes. I've read about it and seen pictures, but I would like to see someone do it.
