You are Marius Petipa! The epitome of classicism, you are the most famous ballet choreographer, and most of these other choreographers wouldn't have gotten where they are without you, even if today's dancers think your codas are an excuse for gymnastics.

It was fun!

I saw Michelle Wiles Wednesday night. And what a joy it was.I thought that her technique was just perfect :beautiful balances, steady pirouettes .Her 3rd act variation was so clean, with all those turns it tends to be messy sometimes (in general it's not my favorite variation to watch),but she just opened my eyes ,it was like seeing it for the very first time.

I can't wait to see her next year.

I don’t exactly agree with you about Egle Spokaite being more of a classical dancer.

I know she did dance Odette –Odille, Giselle, Kitri, but she was never a strong technician (if I can say it this way) I much prefer seeing her in B. Eifman’s, K. Pastor’s work.

Of course she’s the most popular dancer and the biggest box office draw at the moment in LT, but I think she’s being loved for her personality, for her acting skills and unfortunately her repertoire these days is very limited.

Here I have the part translated where the critic talks about Egle Spokaite .I’m sorry for any spelling mistakes.

Eglė Špokaitė and Nerijus Juška who know well the stylistics of the choreographer danced Gerald Arpino’s Reflections. They delighted with a sense of partnership, meditative duo facility. Interesting choreographic form with temperate turn-ups enabled the E. Spokaite's lines be revealed in all its beauty and the dance. In the background of jet-black curtains, augmented by minimalist scenography lines and Petras Geniushas, who was playing piano on the very stage, the dancers created a truly mysterious mood, which after having repaired the floor of the stage shall become severe force.

Wednesday night my parents went to Metropolitan opera to watch one of last performances of Luciano Pavarotti. They told me that it was painful to watch because of his limited abilities to move across the stage, there were extra chairs for him to sit , or to lean on. They found that very disturbing.

In my opinion health is that matters the most.

I was there Sunday.

The mistakes in the program were very upsetting, because this was my first time seeing this company, and I really do not recognize dancers by face. Also as Liebs pointed out, lightening wasn’t quite there, sometimes with weird shadows appearing on stage.

Overall I really enjoyed performance, especially because some of the numbers I saw for the first time. And I though dancers technique was amazing.

I’m so happy that Brooklyn Center For the Performing Arts (it’s three blocks from there I live, and I never knew that they have such performances) brings such a interesting companies, in October I went to see Suzanne Farrell’s company, I also saw “Nutcracker” and looking forward seeing many more.

I love Egle!

I’ve seen her in all ballets at Lithuanian Opera and Ballet theatre.

She's the most beautiful Juliet I have ever seen, as well as Giselle. Her expression and sensitivity is so natural (never too much), and she has the most beautiful feet.

Everyday 11am; 5pm; 11pm; ch75 have an hour of CAS. They feature opera, music, animation videos and always at least one piece of ballet video. They show a lot of Nureyev ,Bruhn ,Makarova ,Fracci , Cojocaru ,Guillem and others also works by Kylian Duarte ,Balanchine , Kudelka.I guess all videos they show are somewhere on tape ,but it’s impossible to have everything.
