Oh no I had meant if he had done Rubies on opening night in front of all the rest of the alumni and performed it the way he just did.

Mejia in particular was just amazing, but the entire cast was wonderful.  Mejia is among the best I've seen in the role, and definitely in the same league as DeLuz and Woetzel.   His elevation is breathtaking, and the exit where he starts slow and the accelerates was super human.

I don't know if he was there. Obviously Anthony Huxley was great but for dramatic storyline's sake imagine if Roman did opening night lol.

I agree, but either way I was relieved, this is Sterling's night and she deserves to have the focus on her and only on her.

Probably not, considering she once had a one-sided issue with Sterling a few years ago. 

I have a feeling the next ones promoted to principal will be one or two of the five tall dancers they promoted last. I assume keeping in mind Maria K and Tess Reichlen's retirement the point was to promote Ashley Hod, Emily Kikta, Isabella LaFreniere, Miriam Miller, and Mira Nadon and then have them battle it out like a tall girl Hunger Games lol.
