And it's really sad to look at now. It's almost a picture history of ABT. The farewells, the debuts, the new works, the old works, and so on. It seemed as if the company was really his life. 

It looks like he already had some gigs lined up. But also very sad that he's not going to get the fond farewell he deserves.

I agree with you completely on all counts. I wish that they'd bring back that incredibly charming, charismatic Vladimir Shklyarov if they can tear him away from his darling family for a few. Saw him with Stella Abrera in her Giselle debut (with ABT) just before she was (finally!!!) promoted. He blew me away from the second he stepped on the stage. Oh, and can Vlad-lad dance! He's an excellent partner too!

What I found incredibly disturbing is this quote from the article:

"It has nothing to do with his competency or his support in the ballet community," he said.

It doesn't? This wasn’t just an “argument.”  According to Darci's statement:

Mr. Martins "verbally abused me then he began to push and slap me." She fell into another room, she said, cutting her ankle. She said he hit her again. "I kept asking him to stop, and he refused."

What kind of monster does that? And that is not enough to affect his career? And he gets to work with children too? Plus, other people did document other incidents of this kind of physical abuse but the board continued to look away. Sorry, it's all too much. I really don't understand.
