  1. I'm not sure what the exact running time is, but I know it's more than 3 hours long. About what the four acts are... Act I is the Ritual of Fire. Act II has the Two Rivals and Nikiya's death. Third Act has the Appearance of Nikiya in Solor's room, Solor's dream in the Kingdom of the Shades, and then when Solor awakes from his dream. Act IV is the wedding of Solor and Gamzatti and then the earthquake that destroys the temple.

  2. I half agree with what Michael said about Kyra Nichols. She did a great job as Titania, but I remember seeing her first penche with her knee a tad bit bent. I didn't watch the rest but seeing that tiny bent knee surprised me. I wasn't expecting it from her.

  3. I was actually in the performance last night as one of Oberon's pages. Naturally my opinion varies a little from yours. Speaking of Albert Evans, I absolutely loved his performance! Three years ago when one of my friend's played the indian child, she was always talking about how nice he was to her. I didn't really get to see anything except for the scenes that we were in. In the pas de deux with Darci Kistler and Charles Askegard, we were backstage watching, and it was obvious that they were uncomfortable with the fast tempo, but I don't think it shoed too much as they performed.

  4. Did anyone/has anyone seen Les Ballets Trockadero? They had a performance I think 2 weeks ago. I love them! Boys dance all of the roles, dance on pointe, wear tutus, have buns, fake eyelashes, everything! If you're a dancer and you watch it you'll think it's so funny because everything seems so weird and out of place. You see, they add a little comic relief every now and then, which makes it even more funny. If you haven't seen it, you should try! It's more than worth it!
