Hi Guys, easystuff here. I just got my costume for my recital and I have a couple questions.  You can see my bellybutton through it and it looks really bad, what can I do. And How do I get the tutu to fall and not be so stiff. And can you prevent it from ripping Thanks Easystuff:D

Put a Band-aid over your navel.

The tutu can be steamed.......

That's an odd fabric, that can't be steamed!

What is it, nylon net?  Tulle?  Organdy?  Starched tarlatan?

Practically any fabric can be steamed gently, as by hanging it up in the bathroom, turning on the shower to full hot, and closing the door for three minutes.  If you want to kill two birds with one stone, make the shower a little cooler, and take a shower yourself!  Shampoo, if you need to run out the time a little, like to five minutes.

About seeing your belly-button....the band-aid idea is a good one. If that bothers you though, do you think you could wear a liner leotard? (One of those nude camisoles?) Sometimes you can get them with clear straps too so they won't show as much.
