I was wondering if American Ballet Theater had a school for ballet students? Just like New York City Ballet has school of American ballet!:D

ABT has a summer intensive workshop around the U.S. but not a full time ballet school like NYCB's SAB. :D

But didn't they try a school for a few years in the 70's? Anybody know why it didn't go?

They used to have a good school dating from the 40s, which got transformed into the Classical Ballet School during the Baryshnikov administration of Ballet Theater. Then he lost interest in it, and the place closed for good in 1994.
