Dancers from the New York City Ballet at The ’62 Center
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance presents principal dancers from the New York City Ballet in a special performance of George Balanchine’s Davidsbündlertänze. As in the original production, the work is performed with a solo pianist. The evening includes a discussion of Schumann’s music by Marjorie Hirsch, Professor of Music, and an excerpt from a documentary on Karin von Aroldingen, an original cast member and interpreter of Balanchine choreography.
