Clotilde was my favorite! She danced while she conducted and brought such joy to each performance. Link to comment
choriamb
I'm so sad to hear this. She was always so joyful and no one was more attuned to the dancers. My prayers are with her family and the company. Link to comment

Mary Mellowdew
I am shocked and very saddened by this news.I always enjoyed the audience reaction, often gasps, when she walked on stage for the curtain call. Not only was she a woman, but she was an extremely pint-sized woman. Someone should tell legacy.com that that paid condolence notice the NYCB put in the Times is not the same as an obit. I can't help wonder if the Times considers her important enough to do a regular obit at some point. Edited October 20 by Mary Mellowdew Link to comment

laurel
I've been wondering where she was the past few weeks; I'm truly sorry to hear this. She infused her NYC Ballet evenings with the same kind of brio and delight as the dancers on stage. RIP to a great conductor. Link to comment
