Grace8
First weekend casting is up: https://www.pnb.org/season/the-times-are-racing/ The new Jessica Lang work is titled "Black Wave." Found this on https://www.pnb.org/repertory/black-wave/: Quote Black Wave is inspired by mental health awareness and rooted in the philosophy behind Kintsugi (金継ぎ meaning ‘golden joinery’), the centuries-old Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the breakage of treasured objects with gold lacquer. Kintsugi beautifies the cracks that serve as a visual record of the object’s history and can be a metaphor for our human life experience. Program note by Jessica Lang Link to comment

Grace8
Still gathering my thoughts from the 1st Saturday evening performance (9/21). Looking forward to seeing "Black Wave" again in the digital streaming performance to better understand it. Christopher D'Ariano's performance was excellent; I'm also looking forward to seeing Leah Terada's performance in the same role. There were some casting changes -- hope Leah Terada is doing okay since she's not listed in the week 2 performance casting. Luther DeMyer, Lily Wills and Larry Lancaster performed in "The Veil Between Worlds" replacing Dammiel Cruz, Leah Terada and Jonathan Batista, and Price Suddarth replaced Jonathan Batista in "The Times are Racing."
