Quote Hamrick retired from dance in 2019 after 15 years with the American Ballet Theatre, and she has used her experience as a ballerina — both in front of audiences and backstage — to write her two fiction books, which are both set in the world of professional ballet. Hamrick also utilizes her dance background to choreograph, including previously working on a Rolling Stones-themed rock ballet with Jagger, 81. Link to comment

Quote Born in Invercargill, Jackson attended Epsom Girls’ Grammar School in Auckland and in 1941 won the first Royal Academy of Dancing Scholarship in the country. The Royal Ballet, a ballet company based at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London, said they were saddened by the death Jackson, who was a former Sadler’s Wells Ballet principal dancer “famous for her fast, brilliant fouettés” Link to comment

Quote The former-stockbroker said the campaign only wants a referendum and to give Plymouth people the opportunity of following other cities with a directly elected mayor. The names of 5% of the electorate are needed to trigger a referendum on whether Plymouth should have a directly elected mayor.
