Quote Paris Opera Ballet comes to L.A. through the good graces of Dudamel, who is the new music director of Paris Opera and who takes its dance company seriously. He will, for example, next season in Paris conduct performances of Wayne McGregor’s “The Dante Project,” to the Thomas Adès score commissioned by the L.A. Phil. Quote The company travels with a 24-by-30-foot stage platform that allows for a backstage changing area. The lighting for the shows is mainly provided by the sun; the performances start at 6:30 p.m. and last about 90 minutes, so sundown is an added special effect. Link to comment
