California
After four years as a principal at ENB, Jeffrey Cirio is re-joining Boston Ballet as a principal for the 2022-23 season: https://www.bostonballet.org/Home/Global/Profiles/Artists/Principal-Dancers/Jeffrey-Cirio.aspx Link to comment
Helene
Wow, good for Boston Ballet! It's a shame for him that he had only a couple of pre-covid years in England. Link to comment
ABT Fan
Wow! Helene, I agree. His Hilarion in Akram Khan’s Giselle is one of the most amazing performances I’ve ever seen. Lucky Boston to get him back. Link to comment

I can’t imagine anyone else in that role. Certainly there could be another dancer who would also do an extraordinary job. But, it’s hard to picture anyone else coming close to what Cirio did with it. Josette
I agree about his extraordinary, intense Hilarion in Akram Khan's Giselle. I assume that I will see him in Akram Khan's Creature in two days in Chicago. I would go to Boston to see him. Link to comment
pherank
Things are obviously in a state of flux at ENB, so a good time to make a change. Edited February 23, 2022 by pherank Link to comment
