Times long gone: the fouettes, the sautees.

This last days have left me ruminating on the times when I saw amazing ballerinas doing perfectly solid/a la seconde non traveling single 32 fouettes, just to be followed by solid 30 traveling sautees on pointe yet followed by a circle of pique turns to just end in a spectacular throw into Siegfried's arms for a final fish dive-( first video), OR 38 (!) turns, counting the initial sextuple and ending quintuple pirouettes-(second video).

Aaaahhh....the thrill...🥰
