A review of English National Ballet by Joy Sable in The Jewish Chronicle.

Quote

Other offerings include the pas de trois from Le Corsaire (more frequently performed at galas as a pas de deux), with Daniel McCormick in spectacular form, and the Black Swan pas de deux from Swan Lake. Taken out of the entire ballet, it loses much of its drama and becomes just an exercise in virtuoso dancing, but nevertheless, it is thrilling to watch. Erina Takahashi and Joseph Caley pull out all the stops and it would be good to see them dance the complete work.

A review of Ballett am Rhein by Graham Watts for Bachtrack.

Quote

Barton has now restaged Come In in western Germany, at the invitation of Ballett am Rhein director, Demis Volpi. Losing the mature and magnetic presence of its original megastar appears to have had little, if any, impact on the poetic, hypnotic quality of the work, emphasised in the hybrid of Vladimir Martynov’s ethereal score and the arresting, simple musicality of Barton’s choreography, heavily accented by gesture and expression.
