The Traveling Ballerina
Joaquín de Luz is a gem! He has so much artistic talent supported by a strategic mind and a passion for his craft. I had the opportunity to chat with him a bit after a press conference at Teatro Real in Madrid; here's more about what's going on with CND including some interesting facts about his new Giselle! Drew
Thanks for the interview. I wish De Luz great success. (I wonder if the announced run of the Giselle will happen as planned--I'm even a little surprised about this week's repertory program, as a quick Google search shows cinemas are closed in Spain right now...) Here in Madrid cinemas, theatres, and auditoriums are open at 75% capacity; so the rep run should be good to go. I'll be attending tomorrow's opening night - the first time I've stepped into a theatre since February! As you mention, though, Giselle could be a toss up considering regulations are in constant flux reflecting the actual state of things. We shall see. Link to comment
