seattle_dancer
Kudos to Peter Boal on his programming!!! I’m looking forward to this Rep and the casting! Great blend of old and new! It’s a little later than our normal opening but the weather will be cooler and darker so we will be so ready! It’s actually pretty ambitious to rehearse and film all of this new footage so I could see where PNB could use the extra time. I hope all this smoke has not negatively impacted the dancers’ health. I don’t spend a lot of time on social media but on Instagram I did see some terrific rehearsal footage of Steven Loch and Angelica Generosa working on their Swan Lake solos. There may be others out there, I just haven’t poked around that much. Link to comment
The Traveling Ballerina
In case any of you are wondering what this strange new world of digital ballet seasons feels like, here's my thoughts on PNB's opener. Link to comment
Helene
Ryan and Davis are real-life partners: they post a lot to social media, -- there were great photos of them taking barre at home using their balcony railing -- and PNB noted it in a blog article about returning to the studios. Macy and Wald, too. And thank you for the review! Link to comment
