dirac
A review of the BBC documentary "Men at the Barre - Inside the Royal Ballet" by Deborah Weiss for DanceTabs. Quote We are privy to the dressing room banter between Vadim Muntagirov (aka The Va-dream) and Alexander Campbell, whilst they play basketball. They come across as self-aware, considerate, thoughtful and completely without affectation. Muntagirov says his nickname comes from his partnering skills, “I do what they want,” and that it’s a legacy from his strict training in Perm. He is one of the biggest stars in the world, but the word that comes to mind is humility. He appears almost blissfully unaware of his uniqueness and the phenomenal talent that he has always shown.
