canbelto
Faye Arthurs, former NYCB corps member, is now a dance critic. Her reviews can be found here. I find them to be some of the most intelligent I've ever read. https://www.fjordreview.com/author/faye-arthurs/ Link to comment
Emma
Excellent. I loved reading her blog and was wondering what she up to post retirement. Link to comment
CTballetfan
Thank you, canbelto, for the link to Faye Arthurs’ reviews. I too found them insightful and well written. Having seen Manon and Sleeping Beauty at ABT, and mixed bills and Midsummer Night’s Dream at NYCB, all this spring, I wondered why I felt the most exhilarated after MND, of all these ballets. After all, I had seen it a number of times before. Faye explained it to me! I will follow her in future. I am already missing ballet at Lincoln Center, with full orchestra, this summer. On to mid-September and NYCB. Link to comment

NinaFan
Thanks for posting canbelto. I always enjoyed Faye's dancing, and am so pleased to read her reviews. I agree with everyone that it was excellently written and very insightful. I found it particularly interesting to be "seeing" ABT's ballets through the eyes of a City Ballet dancer. Link to comment
