Hi all! My name is Victoria, and here's a little about me:

• I am 20 years old & a ballet dancer
• I started dancing at age three, but didn't start serious training until age 11.
• I have spent the past year in what I like to call 'ballerina limbo', aka 'taking time off due to injuries.' 
• I am also a choreographer, and I have spent my time off from dance venturing in to modeling and acting. I've also been working to finish a BA in history/archaeology.

I'm really just here to chit-chat all things ballet related with all of you fine, dance-involved people. Having to leave the dance world for a hot minute has been incredibly isolating and I'm just ready to be back among people who know what I'm talking about when I gush about another girl's epaulment.

Welcome, Victorienka - Best of luck with your recovery. I think you will find plenty to read about and react to, on the Ballet Alert forum. Even though this forum is focused on the ballet audience (and their reactions to all things ballet), many of the posters are ex-dancers, or dance writers and so you can 'rub elbows' with many knowledgeable people. Have fun!
