The familiar story about the bewitched princess Aurora, the good and evil fairies, and the adventurous prince truly comes into its own as a ballet. Javier Torres’s joyful revision for the Finnish National Ballet is partly based on Marius Petipa’s original choreography.

Thank you for posting this! I missed the announcement and didn't get it to see it in real time but was happy to watch nonetheless :)

I'm so glad we have this technology and can see other companies around the world. The Finnish National Ballet did a live broadcast of Giselle a year of two ago that I watched online "with" two friends overseas via Skype.
