Mashinka
ROH has published a list of new promotions: http://www.roh.org.uk/news/the-royal-ballet-announces-promotions-for-2018-19-season?utm_source=social&utm_medium=twitter Matthew Ball's promotion can hardly be a surprise with his schedule of principal roles, at the other end of the scale I was pleased to see young Joseph Sissons move up a notch, he's a beautiful classicist, capable of dancing roles across the board. Congratulations to all. Link to comment

Katia Kapustin
Kaneko is a beautiful dancer and I am so pleased with her promotion. I saw her dance when over in London recently. I just hope she will not be plagued by injuries anymore as she suffered in the past. I believe she was out for two years after a very bad knee injury. I really really wish I could go to Madrid to see Swan Lake danced by newly promoted Principal Matthew Ball as Prince Siegfried and Principal ballerina Yasmine Naghdi as Odette/Odile on 19th July.
