Frances is in Toronto with Joseph Walsh at a gala, I believe.

That would explain that!

Wow, Sasha just had an astonishing pirouette there. And Angelo is just too much fun to watch. I'm really enjoying the vibe of Ricardo B's class. Seems more lively/relaxed than Felipé's.

I see that there was also a SFB video, hosted by Sasha De Sola, of the WBD 'behind the scenes' setup at the SFB building. There's a crazy amount of electrical cables involved.

[Warning: the audio levels are very low in this video so you will need to turn your speaker volume up, or wear headphones. And don't forget to turn your speaker volume back down afterwards or you will be in for a rude surprise.]

The problem with World Ballet Day is that I expect to wake up tomorrow to Day 2...

I wouldn't mind quarterly broadcasts, but I know the companies wouldn't like that idea -

Oh, hilarious photo!

I myself have a bit of a WBD hangover. It was a treat to watch as much as I did - easily double what I got to watch last year - but my head is pretty crowded with ballet and social media interactions now. Time to drop it all and climb back into my cave. Be back around Nutcracker time! ; )

Good for her -- I still miss her up here.

You must be referring to Jahna. You can catch up by going to 2:04:42 in the San Francisco Ballet's 2017 World Ballet Day LIVE Broadcast - Jahna dances in the Annabelle Lopez Ochoa rehearsal. (She can also be seen in the class session).

Her first partner has some shaky moments, but things get better with James Sofranko and Max Cauthorn partnering.

Yup -- thanks for the time stamp.  I'm working my way through the archive stuff, but have been busy the last couple days.
