Workshop on Nijinsky's Sarabande

Dance historian Millicent Hodson and early dance scholar/performer Catherine Turocy are offering a workshop June 29-July 2, 2017 on Vaslav Nijinsky's uncompleted choreography to Bach.  According to the promotion:  "this workshop will be a unique oppportunity to explore the cultural inspiration and surroundings of early 20th Century Paris including African, Russian and American influences."  As I understand it, Hodson has been working with text by Nijinsky outlining an approach to the score and to the historical for of the Sarabande.
