Deflope
New here. Anyway. I am not really sure how to describe this film. It's more or less a film version of Renato Zanella's ballet "Medea's choice" (which in turn is based on Theodorakis' opera Medea) interspersed with scenes of demonstrations across Greece. I felt the way they tied Medea's story to the current situation in Greece came off as pretentious but the music is fantastic and, of course the dancing is great too. I believe it is still being shown in festivals and limited release, but would love to get a dvd or download version. Link to comment

sandik
Very interesting -- I still associate Medea with the Graham work, but I noticed there were 5 or 6 different works on the same theme, just on the side of the YouTube screen when I watched the trailer. Link to comment
