So many ballets are set in some version of the natural world (Sylphide and Sylphides, Giselle, Swan Lake, just a few), but we don't often think specifically about what it is like to dance outdoors. I loved the way she slid into a lunge after running, and the look of her feet on pointe in the loam. Link to comment
