2014 Golden Sofit Awards: Komleva, Ratmansky, and Tereshkina

The Mariinsky Theatre has tweeted results of the Golden Sofit Awards, prizes for artistic achievement in St. Petersburg:

The Golden Sofit prize “For Artistic Longevity and a Unique Contribution to Theatre in St Petersburg” went to a coach Gabriela Komleva.


Alexei Ratmansky’s ballet Concerto DSCH was the winner of the Golden Sofit prize in the category “Best Short Ballet”.


The Golden Sofit prize for “Best Female Role in Ballet” went to Viktoria Tereshkina for her performance of the title role in Ashton’s Sylvia

Thank you Helene for posting the news.

I am especially happy to see the the award for Gabriela Komleva an extraordinary interpreter of leading ballet roles and being amongst the sweetest of personalities of the Kirov dancers.
