diane
Thanks for the memories! There seems to be a "new" website of the Nureyev foundation: http://www.nureyev.org/ (well, it looks different than it used to...) -d- Link to comment
toeprints
Thank you for remembering Rudi.. I wish there would be another documentary on PBS - one that would remind the world of his great importance and influence on the world of dance - and not dwell on his horrific illness. I know a few European companies will be honoring him this year - does anyone know if an American company will do the same? Link to comment
California
A brief but touching video remembrance of Nureyev by Baryshnikov was just posted by D&D Art Productions: Link to comment
dirac
What happens when you try to hijack a cab hailed by Nureyev. After an argument, Toback suddenly “heard a ‘crack’ [and] turned to see one of the Germans landing on the sidewalk face down. Rudolf had kicked him in the jaw. The other two fled. I asked Rudolf how often such incidents occurred. He smiled and said, ‘Not often enough.’ ” Link to comment
