Andre Yew
Maybe this should be the videos of amazing turners thread. Here's Daniil Simkin doing some fancy turns and then an astonishing double tour that takes off from one leg! Link to comment
bart
Thanks, Mme. Hermine, for another video surprise that actually tells us a lot about the state of the art. Sarafanov's eleven double turns in the air -- is this something of a record? "Balon" doesn't do this kind of movement justice. His legs are springs. Link to comment
Mme. Hermine
well it wasn't meant as a turning thread but since it went there i have to do this, though the film isn't very good: Link to comment
Natalia
That is one amazing Jester, Mme H, complete with a preview of Odette's 'swan pose' at the end. Thanks for posting. Link to comment
diane
Nice. Thank you! :) Where and who is that, do you know? -d- Link to comment
bart
Nice. Thank you! Where and who is that, do you know? Don't know, but here is the curtain call. Maybe someone can identify the curtain. That "braaah - voh" certainly sounds American to me. Link to comment
diane
Yes, doesn't it? ("sounds American") -d- p.s. yeah, an interesting. rather unusual curtain - nothing one would see over here, I think... Link to comment
