puppytreats
I love her hair and her blog. What kind of shoes are the black ones? Link to comment
ksk04
What kind of shoes are the black ones? Do you mean the brand? I don't know but I would guess she probably wears Freeds, as the majority of NYCB dancers do. They are just dyed black. Link to comment
carbro
This reminded me of the print ads Suzanne Farrell did for L'Air du Temps. I believe it was L'Air du Temps. Seems fitting that Janie Taylor, who shares an evanescent quality with Farrell, shoud be a perfume's symbol in this generation. Link to comment
Helene
It made me think of a wonderful photo spread in maybe "Elle" sometime in the '80's in which Lourdes Lopez, Carole Divet, and Antonia Franceschi were shot wearing and moving in Fortuny dresses. Link to comment
4mrdncr
Many thanks for posting this. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the music because I had filmed Corella Ballet performing "Celaje" (choreographed by George Birkadze) to the same music in 2008. And like the videographer here, I, too, tried to use more angles than a static "front of house". It was very interesting to see what Mr. Peck and Ms. Taylor did to the same piece. Link to comment
