This comic masterpiece takes place during a harvest festival on a collective farm in the Russian steppes, and is set to Dmitri Shostakovich’s vivid folk music. Born in St. Petersburg, Mr. Ratmansky trained at the Bolshoi Ballet School in Moscow, and is the former artistic director of the Bolshoi Ballet." --Has anyone attended events at the Brooklyn Library?
