Barbara
I waited too long to order tickets for the Royal Danish Ballet Works and Process event at the Guggenheim on March 20 and March 21 and now they are all sold out. I spoke to the box office and learned that I can arrive when the box office opens at 6:30pm to get a stand by number and then when the door opens any available seats will be sold according to the drawn numbers. BUT, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask here if anyone ends up with an available ticket for either evening, please pm me and I would love to buy it from you. Thanks in advance! carbro
Word to the wise: The auditorium at the Guggenheim seats, if I remember correctly, fewer than 300, so it is wise to order tickets as soon as you can. For those of us who like to avoid handling charges, there is no way to do so if you order tickets in advance. Generally, you cannot buy them at the Museum until the date of the event, usually as a stand-by. I have gone standby to two "sold-out" programs, and both times I got in.
