the scanned 8x10 glossy publicity photo with Grigorieva's and Lichine's names clearly lettered on the bottom also has the dancers' names scrawled on the photo itself over Grigorieva's back - i don't suppose they are autographs, so why the one-time owner felt compelled to write the names in this way, unless, of course, the printed names were added after the handwritten ones, is anyone's guess.

likewise, i have no idea for which actual ballet the two are costumed.

regardless, it's pretty 'glam' photo.
