papeetepatrick
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/30/theater/...?ref=obituaries Mama Rose was right that 'the baby', namely Baby June, or June Havoc, was the more talented one, but probably most famous for being the basis for that character in the musical 'Gypsy'. A few years ago, I got interested in seeing some of her old things, but could find only a couple, as very good supporting performance in 'Gentleman's Agreement'. She did a good lot of work in B'way shows too. Added: I just read the write-up I linked. It's really an astonishing life, as though she had not only seen everything, but done everything as well.
