bart
The NY Times reported that the Royal Opera House will offer a full-length opera online for the first time beginning Oct. 5. It's Fancesca Zambello's production of Don Giovanni, filmed on Sept. 8. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/19/arts/mus....html?ref=music Link to comment

PeggyR
Great news (plus Don G is my favorite opera). Best news of all: did you notice this little tidbit in the Times article? "As part of the introduction of the site, www.roh.org.uk, the company will make it possible to view other complete operas and ballets online." Here's hoping this starts a trend. Link to comment
Juliet
Don Giovanni was splendid------(I am a huge Simon Keenlyside fan) and it's a treat to have it available thus! Link to comment
