LittleTomato Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 I was just reading a review and I'm thinking that the writer made a mistake, but the last sentences of this article say hohenstion celebrated his last performance with sfb. Is this true? I haven't heard/read ANYTHING like this before Hohenstein, in the end, was showered with flowers. It was, apparently, his last performance with San Francisco Ballet.
Globetrotter Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 I was at that performance (standing room) and that was the dancers were saying on the way out. Also, his partner in Double Evil, Sarah Van Patten, kissed him on stage while the flowers were flying - the first time I ever saw that!
LittleTomato Posted May 8, 2008 Author Posted May 8, 2008 wow. does anyone know why/where he's going? He's been doing really well with the company up until now

Unfortunately this link is not working for me.
carbro Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Try it again, Memo. I have a feeling it will work this time.
balletdad Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 I hope it is not really true as it would be a real loss for the company and for dance in SF.
