Leigh Witchel
Your Ballet Talk Travel Hound here. BoltBus is a new subsidiary of Greyhound, and they're instituting NYC-DC service based on the Megabus-EasyJet model - the earlier you buy tickets, the cheaper they are, as low as $1. Assume that there's only a single ticket available on each bus at $1 - I bought a ticket and the price then recorded as $7. So if you're trying to get from DC to see NYCB or NY to see something at the KenCen - they're cheap. I haven't used them (they don't start until March 27), but I bought a roundtrip for the weekend of Proteges (June 8-9). They advertise leather seats, outlets and free wifi. So if you're trying to get the $1 seat on the 7:30 am bus on Jun 8 to DC or the 6:30 pm bus back from DC on June 9, don't bother. Link to comment
