rg
i believe this card dates from 1914 (the date is cut off in this printing). it documents one part of a mixed choreographic work for Moscow's Bolshoi Theater called "POPULAR/PEOPLE'S? DANCES?," which i take to have been a dance suite celebrating various nations. Yekaterina Geltzer was showcased by Aleksandr Gorskii in a solo for the segment honoring Belgium, to a "Freedom/Liberty March." Link to comment
